Board of Directors

The Girl Friends Fund, Inc. (“The Fund”) Board is composed of 15 GFF members who volunteer their time and talent to function as administrators.  In addition, the Board provides leadership in the areas of fund raising and marketing.

The Fund was conceived with the need to limit Board expenses in order to maximize scholarship awards and other charitable giving.  To that end, The Fund Bylaws include a provision that no Board member may be compensated or otherwise reimbursed for her service.  Additionally, there is no allowance for paid staff. This allows a maximum amount of donations to directly benefit our students.

Many committees of the Board are comprised of Fund members, all of whom volunteer their time and talent in the areas of law, marketing, information technology, financial services/accounting and creative writing.
